As an artist and a Veteran, being able to utilize funding and programs such as the ArtsWA Commission, has been instrumental in kick starting my art programs and the impact Fire it Forward has had with 2023 funding.
Fire it Forward is dedicated to sharing knowledge of local community programs. From community programs to youth art programs, Fire it Forward wants to share them with you so that we can build a community that places creativity and art at its core.
GET INVOLVED
Fire it Forward has artistry workshops from glass sculpting, to fusion glass, to lampworking. We cater to a variety of ages and level of proficiency, so it doesn't matter if you have never touched a hot shop pipe before or if you want to brush up on your previous experience, Fire it Forward is dedicated to creating a fun and safe environment for anyone interested in exploring the world of glass art.
WORKSHOPS
Fire it Forward will be at the Tacoma Ocean Fest on June 27th and 28th to host a glass art scavenger hunt at the Foss Waterway Seaport Museum and pier location for a lecture event on the 27th and the Paddle for the Species on the 28th. Fire it Forward will be hiding 100 commemorative glass art medallions at these two events for this years Ocean Fest.
