Fire It Forward started as an idea that came about after I had only blown glass for a few short months. I found this unique and exciting way of expressing creativity and being empowered all at the same time fascinating and it quickly became a new passion. As it turned out, this creative interest became something I really enjoyed as I realized just how diverse the glass arts were. Just as other art form and music have always inspired me, this new and fascinating art form sustained me through hard times and a pandemic. This was definitely something I wanted to learn more about and experience along with all kinds of art disciplines and media techniques I’ve learned. Art and music has always found a way to bring creativity ahead of everything in an even better light.
This glass art expresses science, light and imagery, and promotes the power of teamwork and sharing new experiences and ideas. The vision of Fire It Forward and for these workshops is to just show a small-scaled version and quick glimpse into an endless world of glass art and the possibilities and spark some interest. After this, I challenge you to explore more. Seek out those local art museums, community and family enrichment programs, Veteran’s groups, and school outreach programs that bring people and art together. Find a way to contribute or harness your own interests and talents and as always Fire It Forward!
